THE OTHER SIDE OF SUMMER
Best friends Bětka and Alma (both 15) spend a dull summer at a lakeside cottage under the supervision of Bětka's older sister Marie (26). With Alma leaving for school abroad in a few days, the girls strive to make the most of their remaining time together. Bětka plans to get to a party at a beach bar on the opposite shore, but Marie refuses to let the teens go alone. Their efforts fail until Alma meets Aneta (16), whom she follows to an island in the middle of the lake. There she discovers a mysterious pool that can transport a person anywhere in the world. And so Alma decides to go through the portal in search of somewhere better. But does such a place exist at all?
